Arnold Begay

Possible attribution

The hallmark "AB" is a possible attribution to Arnold Begay, not a confirmed one; the nation recorded is Navajo (Diné).

This attribution is uncertain. The link between this mark and Arnold Begay is recorded in hedged or unconfirmed terms, so treat it as a lead, not a conclusion.

This mark is not unique to one maker. Our research records this mark, or part of it, as used by other makers too, or as too common to identify one maker on its own. Compare the whole mark, including any symbol, before relying on it.

This mark is shared. “AB” is also recorded for Alex Becenti, Alex Beeshligaii, Anna Begay, Anthony Brown and Art Batala, so the mark alone cannot tell these makers apart.
