Finding the perfect fit is essential for enjoying your Native American jewelry. Use our comprehensive guides below to determine your ideal size for rings, bracelets, and necklaces.

How to Measure

Ring Size

Wrap a thin strip of paper or string around the base of your finger.
Mark where the paper or string overlaps to form a complete circle.
Measure the length in millimeters from the end to the mark.
Divide by 3.14 (pi) to get the inner diameter, then match to the chart below.
Measure at the end of the day when fingers are at their largest. Avoid measuring when cold.

Bracelet Size

Wrap a flexible measuring tape around your wrist, just above the wrist bone.
If you do not have a measuring tape, use a strip of paper and then measure it with a ruler.
For a comfortable fit, add 0.5 to 1 inch to your wrist measurement.

Necklace Length

Use a string to simulate different lengths around your neck.
Consider the neckline of the clothing you plan to wear with the necklace.
Heavier pieces like squash blossom necklaces may hang slightly longer due to weight.

Necklace lengths and where they typically fall on the body. Native American necklaces -- particularly squash blossoms and multi-strand heishi -- often fall in the 24 to 30 inch range.

20" (50.8 cm)	Matinee	Sits at or just above the neckline of a top. Ideal for both casual and business wear.
22" (55.9 cm)	Matinee Plus	Falls a few inches below the collarbone. Works well layered with shorter pieces.
24" (61 cm)	Opera Short	Reaches the top of the bust. Elegant for both everyday and formal occasions.
26" (66 cm)	Opera	Falls at the center of the bust. A dramatic length suited to heavier pendants and squash blossoms.
28" (71.1 cm)	Opera Long	Sits between the bust and the waist. Bold and statement-making.
30" (76.2 cm)	Rope	Falls at or near the waist. Can be worn long or doubled for a layered look. Classic for squash blossom necklaces.
