30-Day Returns & Exchanges (United States)
We want you to love your piece. If it is not right, you may return it within 30 days of delivery. The delivery date is determined by the carrier's tracking confirmation. Requests made after the 30-day window are not eligible.
Returns for a refund: you are responsible for return shipping, and a 20% restocking fee is deducted from your refund. The Certificate of Authenticity is yours to keep β you do not need to return it.
Exchanges: an exchange for an item of equal or greater value carries no restocking fee. You are responsible for return shipping and any difference in price. An exchange for a piece of lesser value is treated as a return β the 20% restocking fee applies to the refunded difference.
All returns and exchanges must meet the condition requirements below. This policy governs United States orders; statutory rights for EU and UK customers are described separately and apply in addition to it.
30-Day Returns & Exchanges
If it is not right, you may return your piece within 30 days of delivery for a refund, less a 20% restocking fee, with return shipping paid by you. You may instead exchange it for an item of equal or greater value with no restocking fee, paying return shipping and any difference in price. Items must be new, unworn, and unused in their original packaging; the Certificate of Authenticity is yours to keep. Customers in some regions have additional statutory rights, described below.
Return Shipping Costs
For all returns and exchanges, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs; we do not provide prepaid return labels or free returns. Estimated return shipping costs by region:
- United States: 30-day window, $15β25 USD β refund (less a 20% restocking fee) or exchange for equal-or-greater value (no restocking fee).
- EU / EEA: 14-day statutory window, $25β55 USD, refund / exchange / credit (no restocking fee).
- United Kingdom: 14-day statutory window, $25β45 USD, refund / exchange / credit (no restocking fee).
- Canada: 14-day window, $20β35 USD, exchange or credit.
- Australia: 14-day window, $35β55 USD, exchange or credit.
- Japan: 14-day window, $35β55 USD, exchange or credit.
- Other International: 14-day window, $30β60 USD, exchange or credit.
We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method, as The Humiovi is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.
Condition Requirements
To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must meet the following conditions:
- The piece must be in new, unworn, and unused condition β free from scratches, tarnish, scuffs, or any signs of wear.
- All original packaging, including the branded gift box and protective wrapping, must be included and in original condition.
- You do not need to return your Certificate of Authenticity β it is yours to keep.
- Any accompanying care instructions should be included where possible.
- Items that show any evidence of wear, alteration, or damage will not be accepted for return or exchange.
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
- Contact us β Reach out via our contact page or email us within the 30-day window (or your applicable statutory window). Include your order number and the item you wish to return or exchange.
- Receive an Authorization β Our team will review your request and provide a Return/Exchange Authorization (RA/EA) number along with shipping instructions.
- Ship the item back β Package the piece securely in its original packaging and ship it to the address provided. We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method. Keep your Certificate of Authenticity.
- Resolution β Once we receive and inspect your item, we will process your exchange, or your refund (less any applicable restocking fee), to your original payment method.
Items Not Eligible for Return or Exchange
The following items are not eligible under any circumstances:
- Custom or personalized items β Pieces that have been custom-ordered, resized, or personalized to your specifications.
- Sale or clearance items β Items purchased at a reduced price.
- Items showing signs of wear β Any piece that has been worn, used, altered, or is not in its original new condition.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately β ideally within 48 hours of delivery. We handle damaged items separately from our standard return policy, at no cost to you:
- Please provide photographs of the damage along with your order number.
- We will arrange for a prepaid return label at no cost to you.
- You may select a replacement piece of equal or greater value, or receive a full refund with no restocking fee.
- If the damage occurred during transit, we will file an insurance claim on your behalf.
