All Sales Are Final
All sales at The Humiovi are final. We do not offer refunds or returns.
Each piece of jewelry in our collection is a unique work of Native American artisan craftsmanship. Because of the one-of-a-kind nature of these pieces, all purchases are considered final. We encourage customers to carefully consider their selections before completing a purchase.
Exchange Option
While all sales are final, we do offer a one-time exchange within 7 days of delivery. The delivery date is determined by the tracking confirmation provided at the time of shipment. Requests received after the 7-day window are not eligible for exchange.
Exchanges are available for an item of equal or greater value only. If the replacement item is of greater value, the customer is responsible for paying the difference. Exchanges for items of lesser value are not permitted, and no store credit, cash refunds, or partial refunds will be issued for the difference.
Condition Requirements
To be eligible for an exchange, items must meet the following conditions:
- The piece must be in new, unworn, and unused condition -- free from scratches, tarnish, scuffs, or any signs of wear.
- All original packaging, including the branded gift box and protective wrapping, must be included and in original condition.
- The Certificate of Authenticity must be returned with the piece.
- Any accompanying documentation or care instructions must be included.
- Items that show any evidence of wear, alteration, or damage will not be accepted for exchange.
How to Initiate an Exchange
- Contact us -- Reach out via our contact page or email us within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number and the item you wish to exchange.
- Receive an Exchange Authorization -- Our team will review your request and provide an Exchange Authorization (EA) number along with shipping instructions.
- Ship the item back -- Package the piece securely in its original packaging and ship it to the address provided. We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method.
- Select your replacement -- Once we receive and inspect your item, you may select a replacement piece of equal or greater value from our current collection. If the new piece is of greater value, you will be charged the difference.
Items Not Eligible for Exchange
The following items are not eligible for exchange under any circumstances:
- Custom or personalized items -- Pieces that have been custom-ordered, resized, or personalized to your specifications.
- Sale or clearance items -- Items purchased at a reduced price.
- Items showing signs of wear -- Any piece that has been worn, used, altered, or is not in its original new condition.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately -- ideally within 48 hours of delivery. We handle damaged items separately from our standard exchange policy:
- Please provide photographs of the damage along with your order number.
- We will arrange for a prepaid return label at no cost to you.
- You may select a replacement piece of equal or greater value from our current collection.
- If the damage occurred during transit, we will file an insurance claim on your behalf.
Shipping for Exchanges
For all exchanges, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method, as The Humiovi is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.
