A belt buckle gives a silversmith room to work at scale. Ours range from deeply stamped and repoussé sterling anchored by a single dramatic turquoise stone to elaborate Zuni channel inlay and Hopi overlay. Worn with a quality leather belt, a fine buckle becomes the centerpiece of an outfit and, often, a piece passed down.
The Humiovi has built direct relationships with Native American silversmiths since 1977. Signed pieces are credited to their maker. Where a buckle's tribe is known, its product page names it.
Turquoise is soft and porous — keep the buckle away from moisture, sweat, and cosmetics, and remove it before strenuous activity. Store it cushioned and separate, and a periodic gentle polish maintains the silver's depth.
