Native American pottery from the Pueblo communities of the Southwest is among the most collected art in North America — hand-coiled, stone-polished, and fired in the traditional way. The Humiovi has offered Pueblo pottery since 1977 — Acoma, Hopi, Santo Domingo, and other traditions — much of it acquired from the potters and their families. Where a vessel's potter is known, its product page names them. Explore polychrome jars, seed pots, wedding vases, and fine-line work that carry generations of tradition. Authenticity guaranteed for every piece we represent as Native American-made.

Pueblo pottery is built by hand without a wheel — coiled, scraped thin, slipped, and polished with a stone, then painted with yucca brushes and natural pigments before firing. Acoma is known for its thin walls and intricate fine-line designs; Hopi for warm, fire-blushed earth tones; Santo Domingo and other pueblos for distinctive forms and motifs. A well-made pot reflects the clay, hands, and lineage of its maker.
The Humiovi has acquired Pueblo pottery through direct relationships with the artists since 1977. Where a vessel's artist and pueblo are known, its product page names them, so collectors know exactly what they are acquiring.
Traditionally fired pottery is more porous than commercial ceramics — keep it dry, dust gently with a soft brush, and handle by the body rather than the rim. Display away from direct heat and high-traffic edges to protect these heirloom works.
